I’m an amateur wildlife and landscape photographer based in Wiltshire where I am lucky to have so many beautiful places on my doorstep. Outside of my day job in IT, I love to spend as much time as I can in search of wildlife, chasing sunsets and visiting some of our countries beautiful places.

My earliest memory of wildlife was as a kid spending hours driving through mid-Wales in search of Red Kites.

At the age of 13 I was was fortunate enough to accompany my grandparents on a 6 week holiday to Namibia. It was during those 6 weeks that Gramps, who has always been a keen photographer and birder taught me everything! I returned to the UK hooked and immediately bought my first camera, an Olympus OM10.

Whilst studying photography at College my Gramps spent endless hours taking me to some of the best places in the West Country to complete my assignments. This was when I upgraded to a Canon SLR so I could “borrow” his lenses.

Photography took a back seat whilst my children were young. But now, I have rediscovered my passion for photography and the pleasure I gain from watching wildlife in its natural habitat and sharing itwith others. Waiting for hours and seeing nothing is rewarded when that magical moment happens; you’ve gotta be in it to win it!

I like to take my two children out with me as much as possible in search of wildlife and my eldest, Jack (8) is a budding photographer. He got his first DSLR for Christmas and is desperate for me to teach him how to time-lapse! Molly (6) loves being out and about exploring with us too!
